Backend PHP Developer

Objective: We are currently seeking a skilled Junior Backend Developer with expertise in PHP and Node.js to join our team for a project. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development and strong proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Yii2, along with good knowledge of MySQL, Git, Linux, and SOAP/REST API development using PHP.
Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12 PM - 9 PM (Vietnam Time).
Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
Location: Hanoi (preferred), Ho Chi Minh City, or Remote.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend PHP development
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, particularly Yii2.
- Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization.
- Experience in SOAP/REST API development using PHP.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Comfortable working with Linux-based systems and commands.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience in building microservice architectures is highly desired.
- Familiarity with other PHP frameworks and Node.js.
- Knowledge of other databases such as MongoDB.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP (Yii2)
- Design and implement efficient and scalable database structures using MySQL.
- Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Configure and manage Linux-based servers and services.
- Create SOAP/REST APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.
- Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
