As Procurement Manager you are working in a small but energetic project team. You work closely with other departments in the organization and you report to the Project Manager. This position offers you the opportunity to perform various purchasing tasks like: - Establish, implement and follow up the purchase agreements based on the conditions of the customer contract - Creation of tenders and supplier selection, in close cooperation with the technical depart-ments and the project manager - Managing the prequalification’s, sending out of the request for proposals - Negotiating contract terms and conditions andprice - Procurement of medical, mechanical, electrical, building materials and services. - Supervision and control of the project’s purchasing budget and time schedule of deliveries - Project purchase administration - Supplier assessment and claim management - Developing the sourcing strategy with the Project Manager Job deion: Procurement Manager has especially following responsibilities: • Participation in the preparation of the procurement strategy, like scope split scenario, inquiry, sourcing and awarding strategies, etc. • Issuing of RFQ’s or tenders and keeping the supplier data up-to-date. • Implementation of the procurement strategy • Coordination of the procurement team • Cooperation in the selection of suppliers and to ensure that always the supplier with the best price, delivery time, quality and services will be chosen. • Negotiate and finalize purchase contract details • Supervision and control of the project’s purchasing budget • Execution of the conditions of ECA projects and/or sourcing strategies • Compilation of purchasing statistics • Supplier assessment • Monitoring the market in order to discover profitable suppliers. This includes visits to trade fairs, exhibitions and suppliers, if necessary • Building, maintaining and improving supplier relations • to ensure the auditability of decisions made during the project

Your profile:
- Education – Higher economical and/or technical degree
- 3+ years relevant Procurement experience, preferred in a project international organization
- Familiar with medical equipment and/or related M&E and construction materials
- Knowledge of VN Suppliers/manufacturers
- Contract preparation know-how
- Knowledge of incoterms to negotiate delivery conditions
- Knowledge of international payment instruments to negotiate payment terms
- Knowledge of basics about logistics, regulations on import/export to Vietnam, kinds of im-port/export
- Excellent language skills in Vietnamese and English
- Excellent computer skills (MS-Office, ERP tools etc.)
- Negotiation skills and perseverance
- Intercultural competence
- Self-confident, assertive and adaptable
- Knowledge of VN Bidding Law
